Added the MAP sensor portion of the X-Cal 2 Data logging writeup to the SCT X-Cal 2 A/F & Boost page. I also added a link to the tech article on the left hand colum and two more videos to the Racing Clips page.

The Mach broke a valve spring a few weeks back and has been down for a bit. While the motor was out I decided to install a HUGE Lightning Force Performance radiator. She is all fixed up now and shoed with a new set of MONSTER Meats in the back. Hoosier 335/35/17 Drag Radials were installed a few days ago.  Here is a video of me testing out the new tires. I also installed an Innovate Motorsports Wideband O2 and gauge in the Mach and added a page showing how you can wire in your Wideband O2 into your SCT X-Calibrator 2 for data logging. I swapped out my old Boost Guage with a new Sport Comp II style. I feel it matches the factory guages alot better. And one last thing...I lowered the Mach an inch with a set of Ford Motorsports lowering springs. Below are a few shots of the new mods and the rest of the pics can be found on the Mach 1 Mods page.

660 Horsepower to the rear wheels! Made some pulls and minor tuning with the F1A on the Mach last week. The car starts to run out of fuel around 6000rpm and makes about 25 lbs of boost. I will be installing 2 Ford GT (Super Car) Pumps this weekend and will post some pics of the conversion. Below you will find the dyno graph and a couple videos of the Mach in action on the dyno.

Lots of things have happened in the last week. I totaled the RiceBox, bought a new Neon SRT-4, and installed the Polished F1-A.

After seeing the damage done to the RiceBox I did not feel safe driving another Scion xB. It was a cool car but would not survive a major impact. I have been eyeing a Neon SRT-4 ever since I bought the RiceBox back in Oct. Unfortunately, there are no new 2005 SRT-4 to be found. I did an extensive internet search and found this one below. It was a dealer demo car and has 335 miles on the clock. It came equipped with a power Sun Roof and the Kicker Livin Large sound system. This car reminds me a lot of my 89 Coupe that I sold several years ago. This is also the same color scheme I would like to get on a 2007 Mustang Shelby Cobra. Look for a new page dedicated to modding the SRT-4 in the near future.

The F1-A is a monster of a blower. It is larger in size and the impellor is much more aggressive. Below are a few shots of the D1SC compared to the F1-A. Also, I shot some video before and after the F1-A install so you can hear the differences in the two blowers.

My F1-A showed up the other day...however, I was sent a satin unit instead of a Polished unit...so I had to send it back. In the mean time, I have made some upgrades to the Mach to support the extra CFM that the F1 is capable of producing. I have added a Vortech Mondo Race bypass valve, an Anderson Ford Motorsport Power Pipe, upgraded the power cabling to my Kenne-Belle Boost-A-Pump, and upgraded the fuel supply system. The fuel system upgrade consisted of 2 Walbro GSS342 intake pumps, stock fuel line to -8 adaptor, -8 braided supply line, and CPR Fuel rails. I have added pictures of all these mods to the Mach 1 Mods section of this site. Below are a few snippets of the mods to give you an idea of whats going on.

I am still struggling with belt slip issues on my D1SC and have decided to sell it and upgrade to an F1a. The F1 has a higher step-up ration, 5.40:1 vs 4.10:1, and will allow me to run a much larger blower pulley. On the upside...the F1 will make more power too :). The D1 is currently on eBay and can be found here.

I have started adding some content to my RiceBoxRacing page...the car is a SlugBitch so the updates to that page come in a SlugBitch manner too. Added some more content to the Mach 1 Mods page and also added 4 new Movies to the Racing Clips section of the site.

I have added a Discussion Forum to the site. Please feel free to join and post about anything you want. The forums are just getting off the ground and there is not much content yet.

I got the big boost pulley on the car and now the belt slips like crazy. Once the car gets up to 5800rpm the belt starts to slip and boost drops 5psi. I have since been working on an 8-Rib conversion and have sourced all the parts that I need. I have created a page dedicated to just the conversion and can be found here.

Happy New! With all the time off I have managed to make some major updates to the website. I have added 8 videos to the Racing Clips section, updated the Mach 1 Dyno Data page, added photos to the Mach 1 Photo Gallery, updated the Mach 1 Mods page with all the latest info, and started on the Rice Box Racing page. The big news is the motor made 500rwhp on a soft tune and low boost. Next week we plan to add more boost and hope the fuel system is enough. Below are a few pics from the various updated sections.
